Option 1 - A Living Hope - A Sure Salvation, Biblical Studies in 1 & 2 Peter
"Children of God are to have a constant hope of their inheritance in heaven, and live accordingly. Peter reviews such important themes in his two letters."
Option 2 - Womens' Group
“Women everywhere marvel at those “good girls” in Scripture–Sarah, Mary, Esther–but on most days, that’s not who they see when they look in the mirror. Most women (if they’re honest) see the selfishness of Sapphira or the deception of Delilah. They catch of glimpse of Jezebel’s take-charge pride or Eve’s disastrous disobedience. Like Bathsheba, Herodias, and the rest, today’s modern woman is surrounded by temptations, exhausted by the demands of daily living, and burdened by her own desires.
So what’s a good girl to do? Learn from their lives, says beloved Bible study teacher and speaker Liz Curtis Higgs, and choose a better path. Whether they were “Bad to the Bone,” “Bad for a Season, but Not Forever” or only “Bad for a Moment,” these infamous sisters show women how not to handle the challenges of life.” (amazon book description)

Option 3 - Sermon Rewind
Get to know others in the congregation and discuss the morning’s sermon. What did you hear as the main points? How does this topic apply to my life?, What questions did the sermon raise?, etc
Option 4 - Basics for Believers
Are you wanting to get an overview of the foundations to the Christian faith? In this class we'll cover what is essential to understanding the Bible; touching on the moment of Creation, the fall of man, the prophets, judges, and kings, Jesus, salvation, end times, and more! The goal of this group is to better understand the narrative of the Scriptures and God's heart for His people to know Him better. This course is geared towards newer believers or those looking for a refresher on the basics.
Option 5 - Coventry Kids
Teams of 5 (child clearances needed) will teach Bible lessons, lead active games, construct crafts, and lead worship to a growing group of children at Coventry. We are asking God for 10 people who are led by God to serve in this capacity over the summer months.
Option 6 - Don't Wing it Alone
Patrick Morley’s How God Makes Men will help this group study ten epic stories of the Bible’s most talked-about men and provide ten proven principles ‒ based on their failures and successes ‒ that show how God works in a man’s life, and how you can cooperate with Him in yours. Don’t settle for less. Join Patrick on this epic adventure of becoming God’s man. You’ll discover how to prevail in tough times and release God’s power in every area of your life.
Option 7 - Prayer Group |
Prayer is essential for the life of the Church and the Believer. Join this group to pray for different topics each week, and for each other. Covered topics include governance, the local and global church, unreached people groups, families, and more.
